Cleaning an **EVAPCO cooling tower** is important for efficiency, water quality, and extending equipment life. The process can vary slightly depending on whether you have an **open circuit, closed circuit, or hybrid** tower, but the general cleaning steps are similar. Here’s a practical guide:Step-b

A forced draft cooling tower fan is a type of fan system used in cooling towers where the fan is mounted at the air inlet (base or side of the tower) to force air into the tower and through the fill media, where it contacts the hot water for cooling. Here’s a breakdown:Characteristics of Forced Draft

Cooling tower motors mostly operate in humid, hot, dusty and even corrosive gas environments, and are subjected to frequent starts and stops, wide voltage fluctuations and sudden load transmission by belts or couplings. If there is a lack of system maintenance, they are prone to faults such as windi

I. Regular inspection and cleaningThe surface of the fan blades is prone to accumulate dust, scale, oil stains and microbial films, especially in open cooling towers. Fouling not only increases the load on the fan blades and reduces the air volume, but also disrupts the dynamic balance, causing vibr

Closed-loop cooling tower maintenance is important to keep the system efficient, extend equipment life, and prevent scaling, corrosion, or biological growth. Unlike open-loop systems, closed-loop towers circulate fluid (often water mixed with glycol) in a sealed circuit, reducing contamination but s

Marley (SPX Cooling Technologies) manufactures **gear reducers** specifically designed for cooling tower applications. These gear drives are critical components that reduce the speed of the electric motor to the optimal speed for the cooling tower fan, while also transmitting high torque loads relia

Here’s the the **BAC cooling tower maintenance guide** ---Daily Maintenance* **Check water level**: Ensure the basin water level is normal and the make-up valve is functioning properly.* **Water quality management**: Maintain proper water treatment to prevent scaling, corrosion, and biological grow

If a cooling tower is compared to an "industrial air conditioner", then the circulating water pump is its second heart. According to the latest data from Fortune Business Insights, the global cooling tower market size reached 4.23 billion US dollars in 2024 and is expected to exceed 6.21 billion US
